RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

We stand behind our products 100%. If you’re not completely in love with your purchase you may send it back or get a replacement, provided the fixture is uninstalled and in its original packaging. For details on the return or replacement options available to you, see the specific section of this policy that matches your situation. Please contact our customer care team by calling 1.800.519.7880 or by emailing hello@lightingconnection.com for instructions on how to process your return or replacement prior to sending back any items.

Damaged & Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, you have 7 days to report the issue to our customer service department at 1.800.519.7880 to receive a replacement or refund. Damaged or defective items declared after 7 days are not eligible for return or replacement so please examine the fixture as soon as it arrives! If an item fails after the return period, the manufacturer’s warranty will then apply.

  • Do not dispose of broken or damaged items
  • Please save all packaging and boxes
  • Please include pictures of the damaged item when emailing Customer Care

All Other Returns & Exchanges

For any item that is not damaged or defective, you will have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return or exchange. To receive a refund (less shipping) or exchange on the original merchandise cost, the item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the original packaging with all parts and components.
  • The item must be in a NEW and resellable condition with no damage, cut wires, or other indication that the item was installed.
  • The lamp shades & crystals must be in their original wrapping.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process a refund to the original form of payment used on the order - less any applicable shipping or fees. For all returns & exchanges, failure to contact us ahead of time could result in additional fees being deducted from your refund, including but not limited to restocking fees.

Returns After 30 Days

Some products may be returned after 30 days. Please contact customer care to see if your item qualifies. If accepted, your refund may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25% plus shipping fees. We reserve the right to apply any refunds in the form of store credit for items returned after 30 days and before 60 days. Returns after 60 days will not be accepted.

Exceptions

Though we work very hard to stay on top of our manufacturer restocking and freight requirements, policies do often change. Because of this, we reserve the right to contact you after purchase if restocking or freight charges apply and have not been noted on the product page. At that time, you will be able to accept the additional charges and/or terms, or cancel the order with no penalty.

We cannot accept the returns of:

  • Products that have been clearly identified as non-returnable or custom order on the Product Detail Page
  • Products that have been installed or assembled
  • Products that are not in their original condition and packaging, including products with unwrapped crystals or shades
  • Large quantities of the same product (6 or more)
  • Open-Box and Clearance merchandise
  • Light Bulbs
  • Accessories like additional chain, downrods, and replacement parts

If any items are mistakenly returned to an address different from the one provided to you by Customer Care, you will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
